Painting social media pink to help bring the beloved Barbie to the big screen has to be one of the highlights of my career. Working in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures, I Art Directed the social media campaign for the iconic debut of the world’s favorite doll on the silver screen. Leading the creative team on Barbie, we built a vibrant look & feel for socials with colorful and captivating creatives that showcased the beauty, fun, and nostalgia of Barbie Land. We integrated Barbie’s signature pink into every creative, as well as ensuring that each piece highlighted the stacked cast and the energy they brought to their characters. We made a big splash on socials by making enchanting creatives that sparkled with personality.
TOUR DIARIES
Not only did my team create the beautiful creatives that graced social media, but we also worked in partnership with the DMM talent services team to create a fun-loving Tour Diary series. The talent team traveled with the cast of Barbie across the world. Then they would send us the video footage that was captured on tour. We then edited the footage together with a custom graphics package that allowed fans to have just as much fun as the cast seemed to have.
